SYMON PRODUCTIONS is headed by multi-Emmy-award winning writer/producer Robyn Symon, with 25 years of broadcast experience both in front of and behind the camera.

Symon began her broadcasting career in Texas as a general assignment reporter for NBC affiliate KJAC-TV and the ABC station, KBMT-TV and finally KJAC in Austin covering state politics for CBS News and the Associated Press, winning numerous awards for reporting and special series.

National Programming:
In 1993, Symon was named reporter and producer for the award- winning series “New Florida” airing on PBS in South Florida and nationally on The Travel Channel. In 1996, she was promoted to Senior Producer and host of “New Florida,” also moderating the public affairs programs “Issues and the Media” and “Viewpoint.” While at PBS Symon wrote and produced the acclaimed musical program “Boleros - Unforgettable Love Songs” airing nationally on PBS stations and hosted by Ricardo Montalban and featuring Celia Cruz, Luis Miguel, Jose Feliciano and many other Latin stars and international dance champions.

In 2000, Symon wrote and produced "Living Positive " with Lou Diamond Phillips about the spread of AIDS among teens and was a free-lance Special Projects producer for both NBC and FOX News.

In 2002, Symon was selected to produce the documentary PBS series "Voices of Vision" about the work of non-profit organizations throughout the world. She traveled to Africa to China exposing human rights violations against women in Ghana to the health crisis involving the growth of fast food chains in Beijing.

Symon’s documentary “Transformation: The Life and Legacy of Werner Erhard" premiered to a sellout audience at the Palm Beach Int’l Film Festival and is slated for distribution in the Spring of 2007. She is also currently producing a series "Health & Family" which airs on the BRAVO network as specials with Joy Philbin and on CTV in Canada and in Pre-Production of a new documentary “Blood and Tears” about the impact of globalization child sex tourism in Thailand.
